Lauren Rotonda pursued a career in law after she saw firsthand how attorneys can help people through their most difficult and vulnerable moments in life. Lauren strives to provide compassionate counsel to her clients, while identifying effective, efficient, and creative solutions to their legal dilemmas.

After graduating from high school, Lauren spent a year working as a paralegal at a firm in Washington, DC, that specialized in consumer protection matters. It was this formative experience that inspired her to pursue a profession in the legal field. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy at the University of New Mexico, which was awarded with honors. After graduating, she worked in hospital administration at the University of New Mexico Hospital. During this time, she completed a Master of Business Administration degree, with a concentration in Policy and Planning. Still eager to return to the legal sphere, she accepted a position at the United States Bankruptcy Court in Memphis, TN, and then went on to obtain her Juris Doctor at the University of Memphis.

While in law school, Lauren sought opportunities in a variety of legal areas. She assisted with criminal defense matters in the Shelby County Public Defender's Office, worked in the legal and compliance areas at Medtronic, Inc., served as a Judicial Extern to Chief Magistrate Judge Diane K. Vescovo, and worked as a Hearing Officer for the Memphis Housing Authority through her participation in the Housing Adjudication Clinic. Additionally, she was active in moot court activities, as a member of the Moot Court Board, and a participant in the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Lauren graduated from law school with a Health Law Certificate, was recognized for her volunteer work with the Pro Bono Award, and received the CALI Award for her Health Policy Practicum coursework.
