Vanessa Murtaugh is a resident of Tipton County and lives in Dixonville, TN. She has 5 children: Brandon who is active duty army stationed in Hawaii; Victoria who is a senior at Munford High; Abigail who is a junior at Munford High; Nathaniel who is an 8th grader at Munford Middle; and Trey who is 2 years old. Her husband is an Army Officer and stationed in Darien, IL. Mrs. Murtaugh chose to stay behind and run the homestead and practice law while her husband moved on to his next duty station. She made this decision, together with her husband, because family is important and keeping their kids in a good school, in a stable home, and in a great community is the most important thing.
Mrs. Murtaugh graduated Cum Laude from Columbia College – Columbia College, South Carolina in 2014. There she earned a B.A. in History, Political Science, and Public Affairs. Mrs. Murtaugh received her Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphrey School of Law and is admitted to practice law in the state of Tennessee.
Mrs. Murtaugh's focus with Huffman Mason is Family and Juvenile Law. Her unique perspective brings a deep understanding and sense of empathy for those who are facing difficult family and juvenile law issues.
